Ha ha...I hear ya. But I promise you this...the minute it happens, it'll become instinct. Suddenly, you'll be a responsible parent. You'll also become more selfless, almost instinctually. It is majorly hard work, though.
Well said. My daughter's two, but we may be expecting another in nine months........
Kids just change you, but in a good way. There's definitely no rush to have them, which I believe is what too many people do. Like dominator said, enjoy yourself...because once they come, your life's forever changed.
Just changed 27. We weren't trying, but the symptoms are showing and the, ahem...crimson river has been conspicuously absent this month. In fact, we weren't trying with our first one..but we were extremely happy when we found out. We had always planned on having kids, just not yet. Funny how things work.
How it always is..when you don't want one, you have one. When you want one, you don't. Don't worry, though...I'm sure it will happen. My cousin and her husband were trying for YEARS with no avail...but when she finally did get pregnant two years ago, it was twins. And her husband's in his late 40s! The energy required for twins...can't imagine...
Tool's been my favorite ever since 6th grade, when I saw the SOBER video on Headbanger's Ball. Been following them ever since. Wish I'd seen them live more often-5 times at this point. They're albums are so few and far between, though...I usually try to catch atleast one or two shows when they do go on tour. That's about all time and money will usually allow.

That's def one of the reasons why I'm afraid to have kids. My generation is supposed to be the twin having generation....I don't know if I'm cool with that.
