joe's mom's doctor is such a quack..

my mother-in-law is very sick. she has high blood pressure, really bad diabetes, had a liver transplant and she has been very sick for about a year.

she has been in and out the hospital for almost a year, 2 months after joe's brother died from diabetes..

her fucking doctor will not give her a prescription for her needles she needs to inject her diabetic medication until she sees her. she will not give her any new prescriptions for her anti-rejection medicine, her high blood pressure medicine or her diabetes medicine until she goes to the doctor..

now joe's mom is not thinking clearly and she clearly needs to go to the doctor, that i won't deny..however her doctor should not withold life saving medicine until she sees her..

she hasn't taken her medicine in at least 3 days, she has been throwing up and having stomach problems(you can probably guess what it is) which could also be a sign of her body rejecting the liver she was given..

i hate her doctor and i wish someone would beat the crap out of her..

i just hope that joe and his sister annie are wrong, they think that his mom will be lucky if she lasts the week.

They just want to ass-rape you or your insurance company (probably both) for the visit fee.
I don't have insurance, and had to shell out damn near $450 because some doc-in-a-box Indian motherfucker was convinced that my strep throat was just allergies. Two fucking weeks I had to deal with that shit because he wouldn't admit he was wrong.
Finally gave me antibiotics "just in case you did have an infection" and miraculously, that cleared it all up.
Dickheads in his office even lied to me about how much it would cost before I saw him, and then slammed with a huge bill after the visit. Pricks.

that really sucks..isn't there any way you can get help with getting some of your medical coverage? i know here there have insurance through nys if you don't make a lot of money and it can help.

some doctors are just plain quacks..

i didn't mean to offend you..i know what it's like to be without insurance. i didn't have any until about a year ago when i got married and i know how hard it is.

she needs to use needles because her diabetes is really bad..sometimes her count gets up to 400 and up if she's not careful

Turn her into worm food.
Fit her with a pair of cement shoes.
Make her sleep with the fishes.
Take her on a long walk off a short pier.
Send her clown chasing in the dark.





Okay, that last one didn't make any sense, but it would be pretty entertaining if I could make that happen.

unfortunately she's back in the hospital and it may not be too good..hopefully she makes it after vito's anniverary of his death on jan 14. it will be 1 yr then..sigh..

If she is on Prograf, you can go to the pharmacy she was getting it at before this incident and they should give her some to hold her over until she sees her MD. At least, that is what we used to do. It won't be much, like three to five days worth, but it's better than nothing. I'd also look into finding a new doctor or going to an emergency room. The ER will give them to her with no questions asked. Especially any meds like Prograf.
