The very very first some I heard by Mudvayne was Not Falling. I relate to that song because I do not let anyone bring me down, kinda not falling. That is the first interpretation I had of the song. At the time I didn't know it went way deeper than that.

I could go into more detail but I don't feel the need to.

hmmm... Right now, Death Blooms. Some shit going on in my life that makes me think of that song pretty often. Normally I would say Nothing to Gein or Fall into Sleep.

Fall into sleep is an amazing song that really brings forth a lot of familiar emotion. To me, it recalls feelings of hopelessness but in a delicate way that tells the target listener that he/she is not alone. For me as someone who is trying to break into a writing career it really makes me feel better about what I try to translate into words. It won't matter if I succeed. If my work is not read by the masses my dreams will still be realized in some form and there will always be someone there to read them. ......even if it is just my mom. lol

i think i'll actually answer this one without poking fun or making a joke of it.

"cradle" is the song that speaks most to me. i don't know how anyone else interprets the lyrics but they are meaninful to me in regard to my relationship (if that's what you wanna call it) with my dad as well as my relationship with any higher being (whatever one chooses to call 'god'). neither one has been a very dependable part of my life. ::shrugs::

Mercy, Severity.

Sometimes, I don't notice the load I'm working with until it springs up on me with a deadline or a mind block. I first heard this song when I was pulling an all-nighter for some colloquium project. I started thinking about the imagery in the lyrics, and everything became really vivid. I have a ridiculous, run-away imagination, and this song really got my thought processes going and kind of steered them in a comprehensive direction.
This song has helped me stay on track and search for deeper problems and resolutions in my artwork. It's refreshing to me.

I got a load you can work with, babe!

Haha, I just had to put that out there. But no, really, if you want to, if not, then no.
