We have the same problem over here in AUS. The government bought out a baby bonus, it started out at $600 a few years ago and its now $5000 per child. You get this when your baby is born or when you adopt a baby.

There was tonnes of pregnant teens after it reached $5000 because you still get the money even if you decide to put your child up for adoption.

Ive got 2 kids myself, and some people think that I only had them for the money. Which is not true. I wouldnt give my kids up for anything in this world.

Yup, I think so too. And yes, it is called the Baby Bonus. Stupid I know. I dont know why it was bought out in the first place. Most people usually buy all the baby stuff they need before the child is even born so I dont see why the government is willing to fork out $5000 as soon as they are born. Why dont they just give the kids the money when they turn 18 or even better, use the money for things we need or donate the money to orphanages etc... I just dont see the point in paying people for having kids.

i haven't been to church for religion since i was around 7, except for people dying..in my family i had 2 people, my great-grandmother and a great-uncle who were actually christians..i got pregnant and i wasn't married, but they still loved and treated me the same..they didn't approve of me being pregnant and not married, but they loved me anyway..

as far as religion is concerned, i think that it has been twisted since it first began..people interpret it any way they want..that makes it justifiable to them to hate people because of what it supposedly says..to me it's like the telephone game..one person starts it and by the time it gets to the last person,it's not even close to what was first said..

i understand if someone believes in religion, it's just not for me..i try to be a good person and no it doesn't always work, but i try..
