See this is going to be a great debate.

I personally do not believe in God, heaven, hell, or any of that bullshit. Why you might ask? Because I have a hard time believing that they were here before dinosaurs and before them were phytoplankton and all that single-celled organism shit. Another point is that the bible was hand copied by monks who were addicted to opium. If you don't believe me, watch the history channel or look it up via internet.

And if God loves his/her? followers so much, how could such loyal servants have harmful things done to them?

I could go deeper but that should suffice for now. I'd love to hear peoples views on this subject.

No doubt the bible is wrong on more than one count. I do not believe, however, that this discredits the existence of a divine being or his message to humans despite how much they fucked up the message in the book that they wrote. Established religious groups have fucked up a lot. I think the problem is with the people in them not the god they worship.
